Henry
Tonight was IFCs season finale of the Henry Rollins Show. In the teeing off segment Henry reminds us not to take our ability to speak or minds for granted. The internet is the last place for opposition to the GOP to fight back. The administration wants to take away our right to speak our minds online. For those of you how think that the press is controlled by the "liberals" thing again. All news outlets are controlled by corporations, these coporations support the GOP.
The internet is our way of saying fuck you to facsim. Especially the GOP.
Henry also got the original Rollins Band back together. Henry, Melvin Gibbs, Chris Haskett and Sim Cain. This was the first time they had worked together since 1997. Since then Henry tried to carry on with a new Rollins Band. Sorry Hank, it didn't work. These $ together lay out such a heavy sound, your mind bleeds. I saw them perform in the early 90's and they kicked major ass. It was good to see them together again.
If you get a chance seen the Rollins Band, on tour now!!
Don't forget to watch the HBO documentary "when the Levees Break, A requiem in 4 Acts" and Real Time with Bill Maher later this month.
And yes, Mel Gibson still sucks ass. Hairy man ass.

The current admin is making sweet tender lover to corporate america. This was the point Henry was making. With big corporations running the internet, it makes it easier for Adolf "W" Bush's Gestapo to keep tabs on everything you do. The corporations will get kick backs from the government for spying on us!!!!!
