It sickens me to agree with Sean Hannity. However, he and FW have a point. Israel has a right to defend itself. I have been watching the crisis in Lebanon very closely and Hezbollah started this shit. The Jews have a right to claim their homeland. What has happened to them during their history is nothing short of a fight to exist. They were attacked. They have the right to fight back. It is a shame that the Lebanese people are caught in the middle, however, they have the power to stop it.
But of course blame goes to Israel. On CNN last week the Lebanese Foreign Minister said that Israel was at fault because the escalated the fight. Now, in what reality does that make sense?!!? I have studied the Muslim religion and there is one thing I am certain of......They are to blame. Religion is something that is supposed to bring us up to another level. All that that religion has done is caused violence. But that is to be expected from a religion that was brought about by terrorism. Mohammed had those who would not follow him killed. (Granted Christianity doesn't have that much better of a record.)
This is what happens when fanactics run wild. We see it in our own country with the KKK. When the only thing you do is lead your life by blind obedience to a religion bad things happen.

So while I agree with Hannity that Israel has a right to defend itself, I don't agree with him that Democrats want to let Hezbollah win. I saw John Kerry on Fux "NEWS" channel tonight saying that Israel has a right to defend itself. So go fuck your mom, Hannity!!! By the way have you noticed the casting of Hannity and Colmes? I guess they wanted to find the biggest wimp in the world to be the liberal. Hey Fox, let me take on Hannity!! Let's see if I would cower to that drunk Irish piece of shit!! (My wife is Irish so I have some insight)

Monday on the Sundance channel I saw a documentary on Howard Zinn. Who is Howard Zinn you might ask? Well, Howard Zinn is on the most important voices to come out of the 60's. No he is not a baby boomer, in fact he's old enough to be their parent and unlike baby-boomers he stick to his principles.

In the late fifties he was one of the first people to give voice to those oppressed by segregation in the south. In the sixties he fought against young men dying needlessly in Viet Nam (unlike the baby-boomers today who think it is now alright to send young men to their deaths in Iraq).

As you can tell this man has fought for true justice his whole life. He reminds of my late grandmother, who although she was to busy raising 2 kids to get involved stuck with her beliefs until her death a few moths ago. Compare that to my parents generation. The selfish me first, fuck everyone else baby-boomers. They only cared (and still do) about what was in fashion. If you need any proof look in the White House!!! It's fashionable to be fed misinformation from the GOP and their agents: Fat ass Viagrabaugh, Glenn (I got a small) Peckerhead, Ann I am a Cunt-ler.

Generation X, my generation, where labeled by the boomers as lazy and apathetic. Well assholes, after being raised (or ignored) by you fuckos, how else are we supposed to be!!!!! Remember one thing, WE will cure cancer. WE will bring balance to the government. And hopefully WE will make sure our country makes sense again.

We remember the past. That is why we bring voices like Dr. Zinn back from the obscurity that you people put him in when you decided it wasn't in to oppose FW. This is a war for the minds of America. You had you turn. Now is the time to give it back the ones who will be paying for your Depends when you are too old to wipe your own ass!!!

Here it is folks, proof that saying one name can destroy a political career. Ralphie Reed, the former head of the "Christian" Coaliltion, lost his bid to be the GOP nominee for GA's Lieutenant Governor. He was the hands on leader earlier this year but his ties to Abramoff killed his canidacy. This proves that these so-called moralistic people are anything but!!!

So, Democrats if you want to win, just say ABRAMOFF!!!! It is up to us to press our local leaders to beat this name in the ground. Don't let these fuckers off the hook!!! I say this knowing the DNC will fuck it up anyway and try to run a clean campaign like in 2004. We are better people, but as those people who watch reality TV will tell you ,TRASH SELLS!!! Latest War in the Middle East

This is what the "End of Timers" want. Did anyone think about how the election of FW would affect the peace process? Simply put. By starting a war in Iraq, FW gave the Muslim terror groups enough material to totally destroy any hope for peace.

By scaring their own people with an "It can Happen to Here" campaign, Hezbollah is now a recognized political party in the Palestinian territories. Bravo FW!!!

Punk hit's 30 years old?

I recently went in to a store called "Hot Topic" to buy a new Ramones T-shirt. On the bag it said they were celebrating 30 years of Punk Rock. I'm not quite sure if they were refering to the Ramones coming, the Sex Pistols or what.

To me the original punk band was The Who. They were "the first band to vomit in the bar, and find the distance to the stage to far". An earlier Who show was total anarchy. Pete Townshend smashing his guitar, Roger Daltrey swinging his mic hitting people in the audience, Keith Moon reducing his drum kit to kindling, and John Entwhistle moving out of the way.

The songs were charged with anger (My Generation), drugs (Magic Bus), and violence (Happy Jack). As they grew up, they turned this rage and anger in to art. Tommy and Quadrophenia inspired so many other bands to go past their limitations.

In 2002, Billy Joe Arstrong and Mike Dirnt we talking about disbanding Green Day, but they didn't. They created the best rock album in the last 20 years, American Idiot. In an interview with Guitar World magazine Billie Joe said he got the idea for a punk rock opera from Quadropehnia.

The Who also inspired bands such as the Clash and Pearl Jam (although not punk, grunge is a cousin).

So while I was looking at the bag looking at this bag and reading the writing on it, I became a little disgusted, thinking they just don't get it. When all of a sudden I heard an unmistakable voice saying "People try to put us d-d-d-down!" over the speakers in the store.

I walked out of there thinking some people do know their roots. So some people think that the Sex Pistols invented punk. That's ok. It's my opinion. It's my site. It's only teenage wasteland!

I was at the gym today and saw this douche-bag Paulson get sworn in as treasury Sec. What the FUCK?!?!?!?!? This guy went on a tirade about how great the economy is and went on for 10 minutes verbally sucking W's tiny dick. At least Lewinsky wasn't getting paid to go down on Clinton.

For those of you who don't know he is the third person to fill the position since FW came into office. The only department that had more turnover at the top was the EPA. Apparently FW keeps finding people who want to protect the environment (Christy Todd Whitman for example).

This time it looks as if FW has found a guy who will tell him that "Don't tax and ALL spend" will work. He even reported that there will be a reduction in the Federal deficit this year. WOW a reduction in our $300 BILLION deficit???? The only thing he didn't say was the size of the reduction.

However, he did say he will reduce entitlements like social security. So all you Seniors and Baby-boomer who put him in the White House, who will are or will be depending on these programs, FUCK YOU!!!!!! You'll get what you deserve and like it!!!

Life begins when????

It seems as if our friends from the "Christian" right are at it again. Apparently life begins with an embryo. For years we have be locked in an argument whether life begins at conception or when the fetus begins to form. Now it begins with the unfertilized egg.

I was watching thye Henry Rollins Show on IFC (how's that for supporting Independent film AND keeping music dangerous?). They had a section called IFC Soap Box where people state their views on a particular issue. This week was on Stem cell research. A GOP poster boy got and said destroying the unfertilized egg was murder. When did this happen?!?!?!? Oh yeah, when they put a guy in the White House who said the jury was still out on evolution!!

By this rationale, a woman commits murder when she has her period. Not only that, since only 1 sperm fertilizes an egg, every time a child is conceived there is murder. Everytime a guy masturbates he is committing murder. Boy, do I have a lot of explaining to do.

I guess since it has been proven that stem cell do not need to come from an aborted fetus, these assholes need something to bitch about.

Stem Cell research may or may not be the future of medicine, but to hamper these studies puts us futher back from knowing. Maybe because science can disprove the Adam and Eve story by unlocking the secrets we hold in our bodies. After all the world is only 6000 years old. Let me put it to you straight. Genesis is the story the acient Jews told their kids to explain how we got here. Nothing more. God has given us people who can advance how we do things and how we live. This is the gift. He placed these people here to advance mankind. Now those efforts are being thwarted. The Old Testament was written by people who knew God was mad at them. He sent his son here to live as one of us. To teach us about how much God loves and forgives us.

The only people who have forgotten that are the "Christian""right".

Artists who still make a difference.

Over the weekend VH-1 had Pearl Jam Storytellers on. This was the lastest show in a series that has had some of my favorite bands, Pete Townshend, Elvis Costello, Bruce, and Green Day (this was one of my favorites because they played the entire America Idiot Album).

Watching this show it reminded me of seeing them 2 years ago on the Vote for Change tour. Eddie, Stone, Jeff, Mike, and Matt were their usual incredible selves and they all played with a HUGE chip on their shoulders. They played songs from their past and some from their latest CD (and yes I am pimping the boys new CD).

One thing that really resonated with me was when they asked the band about their politics. Eddid answered that they may have lost some fans, but they remained true to themselves. How many artists can honestly admit to accepting that fact? While other bands (3 Doors Down for example) cave when asked to play for something that would be supposedly disagreeable to them. Bands like PJ, Green Day, Bruce and the E streeters, and the Dixie Chick say FUCK YOU to all those people and stay true.

We live in an age that lacks truth (Thanks FUX "news" channel). We have so-called "reality" TV, that is more scripted than the WWE. We have a corrupt party in power with no accoutability (remember, a blow job is a bad thing as long as the other guy is doing it). WE NEED TRUTH. Pearl Jam gives us truth, if only for an hour at a time.

A few words about Pearl Jam's new album: If you like rock and roll influenced by Otis Reading, Pete Townshend, Kurt Cobain, Fugazi, the Ramones, Bob Dylan, and Bruce this is the CD for you!! It has a political edge that flows from "Life Wasted" all the way to "Inside Job".

Rock with purpose is not an outdated idea, music can still be educational and dangerours in the right hands. Just ask Billie Joe Armstron from Green Day who is considered by the GOP as a musical terrorist!

Superman is not a Republican!!!!

OK, a few weeks ago I was on CNN.com reading an article about how some christian right wing nut jobs are claiming Superman is a GOP hero, and is a christ-like figure.

As my sister can atest I have been a Superman (and a comic nerd) since I was a kid. Hell, I even have an "S" tattoo on my arm. So, I think I know a little about the character. First off, he was not born from a virgin. We know he had a father, Jor-El (or Jor-L if you followed him from the begining). He was sent to Earth because his dad knew what was going to happen to Kryton and that all there were going to die. He sent his son to Earth to save him from death.

Secondly, his creators were Jews. Jerome Siegel and Joe Shuster. (I know Mary and JC were Jewish as well) They based his exodus from Krypton on another biblical figure, Moses.

Thirdly, if you ever read Action Comics 1-10 (which are availible in a collection called the Superman Chronicles Volume One from DC comics) Superman was an agent of social justice. Tearing down slums in Metropolis, exposing unethical treatment of prisoners, and freeing the wrongly convicted. Unlike the GOP who agree with keeping the poor, poorer. Treating the accused as the guilty. And treating people in prison in an inhumane way.

So, yeah he was like JC. I'm talking about the Christ I believe in. The one who spoke about love, humanity, and REAL social change. As I said before If Christ was a conservative....he would have been a Roman.

I am sick of the "religous" right stealing secular things. Go back to looking like the geeks I used to laugh at in high school (on orders from my pastor father). Quit dressing like skaters, surfers and punks. For far too long these people have tried to co-op everything and make it there own. Trying to steal Superman is the last straw. You people perverted the word of God. Now you want to pervert an icon.

When Superman saved people he didn't care what they believed or if they believed in anything. Much like Christ.

And yes this is recomedation to see "Superman Returns"!!!! It was brilliant! Gene Hackman is no longer Lex Luthor. Kevin Spacey is!!!! Brandon Routh is amazing! (Although creepy in that he seemed to channel Christopher Reeves)
