Sorry I've been gone for a while. First thought; If Faux News is Fair and Balanced, Why did they run an infomercial on the "Purpose Driven Life" and call it a news story? Speaking of the Porpoise Driven Life, did you hear about the "Hostage" from Atlanta who read the book to her captor? She now admits to being a Meth-Head. Funny that's what I thought about people who need to have some fat piece of shit tell them what the Bible is about. Did you know that the genocide in Rwanda has stopped?? That what the author of the book said happened after the Rwandan president read his book. YEAH!
I saw BOBBY this weekend. I don't cry at movies. I wept like a little girl with a skinned knee. It's funny how the thing that were relative then still resonate today.

What makes it fair and balanced is that they will show a Christian in a positive light...we see the cooks and corruption every chance the networks can shove them at us. While I am not a follower of the whole PDL movement (it's a little creepy to me), it sounds like Rick Warren is promoting missionary work from the world's community of churches to deal with the problems of poverty, education and taking care of the sick. He's actually one of the few leaders I've seen who is actually out there doing something about it rather than just talking about it. It certainly seems better than relying on the UN which has proven to be a dismal failure.
