Democrats don't live their lives in fear, nor do we want to make others afraid, we leave that to republicans. So go ahead and buy your gas masks, I'm sure we will have another terror alert for election day. Funny, The last one I remember was last election day.
If you want to have your life controlled by people who never served and who don't give a shit out your kids or those kids of other people currently serving our country, vote republican.
The GOP talks a good game. They have done nothing to insure the safety of our heros, but they still blame the democrats. Here is a question: How can you say that the democrats are stopping aid from going to our troops, when there is no way to stop your vote? The GOP controls the government so THEY are making sure that machinery runs slow. They are aided by FUX news and they "journalists" Bill (I have never been any kind of warrior, let alone a culture warrior) O'reilly, Sean (the drunk fuckin' mamma's boy) Hannity et al.
Fuck all of them.

Republicans don't live their lives in fear, they just are not going to minimize the threat of terror. 911 showed us that the islamic extremists can and will attack us and we can no longer push aside their demonstrations as mere sabre rattling. The Dems on the other hand just want us to be afraid the gov wants to listen to our phone calls or torture a terrorist without a lawter present.
The opposite has occured.They have incresed the threat of terrorism. True the GOP doesn't live in fear. They just want you to.
Terrorist leaders no longer have freedom of movement or a secure base to plot and train. Many terror plots have been foiled despite the media leaks. There's a difference between living in fear and dealing with reality. There is less to fear because we are dealing with the threats instead of just waiting to see what they will do next.
I don't care about torture, I dont care about pretty much anyone in the middle-east. I have always said the problem in that region can be solved by raising it to the ground. What I do care about is American kids dying needlesly for nothing. Iraq was never a threat. But because our invasion,Iran elected hardliners running on the "They are comming after us next" platform.
We did not fininsh the job in Afganistan before we went to Iraq.
If Iraq was never a threat, why was our policy regime change even under the Clinton administration? Iran has been spouting death to America rants long before we went to Iraq. We just are taking it more seriously because obviously some of this extremist banter has been backed up with violent action. It used to just be viewd as sabre rattling, but since 911 we can't assume it is.
Like I said, a few megatons and it is not an issue. And NO US service people need to die.

I would have supported the war if there had been one once of truth to what we were being fed. I would have supported the war if we would have had adequate troop strength. The fact is that kids, US kids are dying for nothing. That part of the world is a shit stain. It needs to be wiped.
